Medical Tourism in China

China has been in the late bloomer of medical tourism. China is a popular tourist destination, but not a destination for medical tourism. There are several reasons why. Quality and safety issues are more important than price when it comes to medical tourism. China's reputation in terms of quality and safety have not stellar in the past. It will take a long time to develop a strong record of performance good enough to convince the public confidence in the medical system in China.
In recent years, Chinese officials were embarrassed many many times over the serious health and safety issues which have brought negative international attention to China.
The good news is that the Chinese are determined to overcome this negative image. The American approach to improve the negative image usually in the "Madison Avenue" approach. China's approach does not focus on rebranding, public relations, advertising, and focus groups, etc. China is attacking the problem, in essence, directly. When the mistake was made in China, and endanger the health and safety of this error, and punish those who are determined to be responsible. When you say in America, "will roll heads," a euphemism meaning may be reduced or officials lose their jobs. In China when they say "will roll heads," it literally means.

Intensified global economic meltdown to reduce competition for a pool of buyers and consumers.China has been long at a competitive cost, but lacks quality.
China is changing, with a focus on becoming a new quality competitive. This bodes well for the future of medical tourism in China. It is hard to beat prices in China. Chinese medical services rapidly improved in quality and safety.
The United States and arguably the highest quality health care system in the world.
But even in America, thousands of patients die each year because of mistakes made by health care providers. And humans make mistakes. Even with all the guarantees checks and balances and regulations in force in the United States, and health care providers still manage to make a lot of mistakes in America. There is a silver lining in the cloud for medical tourists to China. Providers of medical services in China is keen to avoid mistakes due to the sanctions imposed on the errors tend to be higher in China. And hold those responsible accountable for errors. When it comes to foreign patients, and pay extra care and attention to every detail. Foreign patients to get the highest quality from the very care and attention possible.
Chinese political leaders like to call China "a developing country."
There is a practical reason for this self-consumption by the Chinese leaders. China hopes to continue to receive preferential trade treatment from the rest of the world, and not under pressure to reduce pollution during the "developing stage." One should not mistake, this is the political discourse of the truth. In fact, China is no longer the "third world" country. China is well on the way to become a first world nation. Chinese people to read and write too, and even more from the people of the United States. Technically China is among the most developed nations on earth today. In some areas of China leads the world in fact. One such area is the maglev train technology. Has developed Japan and Germany, both China and won the race in maglev development, but China only high-speed trains in commercial service. America has plans for construction, and other countries have the capacity to do so, but China has not only physically, and are in commercial service today.Get things done in China.
"This is nice, but what's in it for me?"
The answer is value. Medical tourists can find good value for money in China today. Certainly there are risks. There is nothing such as medical care is guaranteed in any place. Call any medical treatment anywhere in the "proportion of the costs and benefits." I would advise China to tourists who are looking for medical procedures that tend to be low risk, such as plastic surgery and liposuction. This is a low-risk procedures in which the proportion of costs and benefits of giving China a big advantage.
Finally, by the "tourism" medical tourism, China has a lot to offer too.
China is not only in the most densely populated country on earth, but also a fairly large country, about the size of "48 lower" (ie, the United States minus Alaska). The most common tourist spots is the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, the Summer Palace. In addition to many of these tourists these days to explore a bit more, get out of the way places all over China. For example, on the beaches of Hainan Island, Sanya rival those of Hawaii. Beaches on the island of Hainan is not well known until now outside China, but there are a small number of international hotels and there is now especially popular in Sanya from growing.China extends from the tropics along the Sino-Vietnamese border to the Himalayan mountain range along the western border of China, and up to the Gobi desert and Inner Mongolia in the north. There is much to see in China. Travel within China is a convenient and inexpensive.
